Why MCIA: I did performing arts in high school and I wanted to continue performing in college. I also wanted to find a community of friends and family in this new environment. I also knew that MCIA would be a great place to find family and friends because at my first ever fall workshop everyone was very welcoming and would come up and start a conversation with me when I was just standing on the side all alone.

- I played violin for 7 years
- I had a gigantic stuffed animal collection when I was younger to the point where my sister forced me to donate half of them
