Why MCIA: short answer i love mcia long tmi answer I was going to continue drumline after high school and join an independent group, but over the summer I almost died and I missed auditions so for the first time in six years I didnt have twenty plus hours of practice a week and wasn’t a part of this activity I poured my whole heart and soul into. During welcome week I went to all idc and I was like wow this is so cool and then I was like oh hey that’s irene and via from high school that’s so cool. Then i slid up on irene’s story and I was like omg i saw you you did so well and she was like omg thank you you should come out to workshops and i was like oo omg maybe. I was super scared to go to anything so for weeks zero and one i literally went to no workshops or club meetings or events until the first mcia workshop bc i was like if i anything ill know irene so i went to i think gabbie and selahs workshop and it was so fun and the people were so nice and the social after was so fun and i was like yo i think i wanna join this team maybe it’ll fill my drumline void and now a quarter later i can def say mcia not only fills that void but opened up a new passion for me that im really excited to explore :)
